Not really. Race relations were never good to begin with. It was all a mirage. I've spent time all over the country and have lived among lots of different people with different viewpoints. Racism has always been and still is alive and well folks. And for the record, I won't be drawn into a political debate because everyone has already made up their minds anyway, so it's pointless. Ultimately I think both parties have let us down, and I have viewpoints on both sides of the aisle.

I agree racism is and always will be a problem. Bigger problem is the use of racism to mask issues facing the country. Obama had a chance to help this situation, give hope to others. Instead him and his wife furthered racism and in the process threw law enforcement under the bus numerous times. Now you have crime and shootings increasing in all major cities with law enforcement standing aside in fear of behind the next guy left behind. Now all the people out protesting cops and claiming racism at every turn are now bitching that cops aren't doing enough. Isn't that hypocrisy at its finest.
