I think a secondary league should be made where players get paid only if they win (or get paid 2x more then the losing team. I can only imagine how intense it will be.

Its a different game knowing you only get paid for the game if you win.

i watch the rockets' broadcasts on the local hsn network, only for the "return from commercial" moments when they show the bad ass Rocket's power dancers shakin' their asses or about 10-12 seconds as the announcers babble about some bullshit in the background....

Think 90s was maybe a better era overall but this era has better players. And the defense is definitely better in this era. If you asked guys in the 90s to play with today's rules they would struggle as well. It's basically impossible to guard the elite players like Durant Lebron Curry Melo etc 1 on 1 in this era. Tell me a 7 footer in the 90s who could put the ball on the floor, average 5 dimes, score 30 every night, run the point, etc (Durant). PLayers like this didn't exist in the 90s. You can barely touch those guys too which makes it impossible. Bigs were great in that era, but look at the bigs now. Ant Davis? Towns? Cousins? These guys can do everything and also shoot 3s.

It's just a different era bro, you should appreciate the skill level. It's at an all time high. I don't like the reg season as much because too many fouls in this era, but when playoffs roll around, the veteran refs basically throw those rules out and it goes back to extremely physical basketball.
