Here's the other problem with the contest; it is first how high you value the ability to either pound your chest or market yourself as one of the "best cappers in the world" because, let's say you win: with the new 8% take, the overall take with taxes since there's no chance to avoid that, becomes around 45% and almost guarantees they look at your tax return. Think about how bad that number sucks compared to a cash contest.

For me it's GOLD or nothing, especially when proxies are still there (I'm guessing they'll be gone next year), which is just f'n stupid. The other thing I'm wondering will be how many of these contests pop up when sports betting is legal in all the states next year. Since this is a contest and more like a parlay card, you'd think a lot of others would do it even with restricted (non single game) betting.

I live 5 minutes from Delaware. I'm surprised they haven't figured a way to do a similar contest since it would fit in with their 3 game minimum parlay rule.
As it is this is the first year I'm doing the Supercontest I'm already signed up (#60) with a proxy and looking forward to the start of the season

They are on a record signup pace right now with close to 400 entries for the $1500 SUPERCONTEST so that means they will get their first Million Dollar Winner this year. Prize Poll should be over $3Millions paying the top 50 places

The difference between 65.8 and 70% is marginal.
You must sign up for the contest in person. You can use a proxy once the season starts. I called about it a short time ago.
I wanted to get into it but I live in NY State so I would have to pay for airfare and a proxy. That's 2500 after all of that.
I won't say the name of the site, but another sports forum site has a contest that is run just like the Hilton contest. Not that expensive and still pays 5 figures. Played it only one year and won.

I have to disagree. If you have 2000 people flipping coins 85 times, a couple people will hit heads 65%.
