The real 'retard' is Mike McCarthy who screwed all the under betters by actually running a play on their last series, allowing one of his players to get hurt, forcing a clock stoppage which allowed the Lions to get the ball back. If he just kneels on the ball, even if the Lions take their time out (which they weren't going to do before the injury) the game is over before they ever get the ball back.

I think I would still trust Rodgers at home against the Giants defense. That Giants offense is not good. No run game and Eli goes 3 and out half the drives he is on the field. They settle for fieldgoals way too much even on good drives. At some point that defense isn't going to be enough. Rodgers and that pass attack vs a defense that spends way too much time on the field could be the wrong combination.
