Oh well. Didn't go big, everyone knew this game was iffy..

in the final drive, referees helped Green Bay secure 2 first downs
that were 4th and out.
pass interference was a joke, not even near the play either.
the last one with too many on the field was even worse, Detroit player
was mere inches away from being on the sideline, Rodgers called a fast
hike and went for that call... he got it of course. Because NFL loves him.

Green Bay was helped to put away the game instead of giving Lions
another possession for a game-winning td. twice.

Not to mention the non-call on defensive pass interference on the late Green Bay interception of Stafford. Still though, no excuse for Detroit not to be able to score on that depleted Green Bay secondary.

Why would the refs be assisting the big public primetime favorite if your whole angle was that a public burial was brewing, suggesting the league would find a way to get their desired outcome? Doesn't make any sense.

Bottom line is Rodgers knew he could catch the Lions with a quick snap and he did... no different than chucking it deep on an offsides free-play.

Taking the Lions was a foolhardy gamble from the get-go.
