Hahaha, Philly can't get anything by you, you fkn spot on. Our original room wasn't ready, so they said we could wait for strip view or this room. They said the venitian, treasure island and strato shoot off fireworks, so we were fine. Not like we spend much time, if any here anyway. We come straight to room at night fuk then sleep, good times.

Was on the strip a few years back for NYE. Real fun time. Been trying to get some friends of ours to go back to celebrate....but they complain about how pricey it is for NYE.

Jay, we were hanging out on Vegas blvd... they close the street and it was crazy. Think every wacko within the state boundaries showed up. It was an awesome time. They also shoot fireworks from the tops of a number of casinos.

We've never been to NYC, but we were talking about going next year. I cannot imagine how much fun NYC would be.

We did NYC several years back. My recommendation is to book early and get a hotel in Times Square. This way you go up and down to your room as the day happens. People start showing up real early and you basically get put into a cattle pen (at least that was the way it was back then). Then you're stuck there for hours. At our hotel (The Renaissance) we had our own area and when it got down to the final 30 minutes we ventured out to get a little closer. Again, you don't understand the advantage of being able to go up to your room at any time you want for food/drinks or to get warm (if it's a cold night).
