Agree w/ $shot. Too many people concern themselves w/ $$ that a pro-athlete earns.

At their core, they are competitors and want to beat the top opponents. To train your best and come up short, it has to be heart-breaking.

According to Darren Rovell, Rousey is committed in some form or another to seven movies at the moment. She can always do WWE. She never has to fight again. After the Zingano fight, Rousey stated that she renegotiated her contract with the UFC. I wasn't able to find specifics. The words "long term" and "several" more fights were used by Rousey and Dana White. This last fight makes 3 fights on her new contract.

I don't think she can win and for it to be impressive anymore. She claimed to have taken this year off and dedicated herself to training and improving. If she was serious about that, she'd have dumped her garbage coach and gone to Albuquerque or AKA. The UFC can always sell a Rousey/Holm rematch...I would not be surprised if we never see her fight in the octagon again though. The sport has passed her by.

I am shocked how poor of a boxer Rousey is. She has NO apparent boxing/striking skills. she couldn't block a punch, her guard was atrocious and she was basically a punching bag. Her only skill is basic Judo trying to get you on the ground and hopefully arm bar you. That does not work against stronger, more skilled opponents.
