He also screwed up on the prior series, accepting a penalty that would have forced Maryland to kick a 30-yard FG to cut the lead to 6. Instead, he takes the penalty and of course they commit a facemask to give them a first down. Only Maryland's incompetence saved him as they fumbled on the goal line.

Maryland coach is also lost, when they get the fumble on the BC 5, he runs 3 pass plays in a row despite the fact they can't block the rushers and the receivers can't get open.
