People die all of the time, but I've never seen a year where so many celebrities have died; especially in a little over one month...Florence Henderson, Alan Thicke, George Michael (on Christmas and with the song "Last Christmas), Carrie Fisher...It's like every other day or week, you expect another famous person to die..smh..(premature deaths also). I don't include John Glenn because he lived a very full life.

I'll say if you continue to party like you were in your 20's and 30's and carry that into your 50's your body will give out on you.. Especially if you don't hydrate properly, eat right, sleep right and don't exercise regularly..

I think both Carrie and George were guilty of all of that.. Prince too... Bodies quit on them all.. Words of advise if you are over 50 go sober and clean up or else...

Have a big glass of red wine and call it a day if you must catch a buzz.. Maybe smoke a spliff on occasion..

Well that's just another reason then for the body to shut down.. Crack can get you as you get older as well.. A good friend's mother of mine was hooked on crack up until she was 55 years old.. A product of the ghetto here in Compton LA.. She was able to finally quit the crack addiction at 55 and a year later she had a massive stroke and heart attack and died at a bus stop alone..

Broke my heart as she was a good person and was trying to really clean up, the damage was already done though.. Her body was spent and I could see that.. She wasn't fat or sloppy either, just spent.. My friend is a black reggae musician from the hood.. Super nice Rasta guy.. I went to the funeral 2 years ago... About the only time I cry in my life time is at funerals.. I'm gonna stop going to funerals as it hurts to much..
