What has happened to Todd Gurley??

I understand his frustration, and that he's on a terrible team, with a terrible quarterback, and a lousy frontline. But I saw him in the first quarter get pushed backwards. It was like the Bo Jackson versus Brian Bosworth play, except in reverse. His explosiveness just wasn't there.

They really need to do some different things, find ways to get him the ball in space. The last 3 carries, he was hit in the backfield each time. They probably need 2-3 OL in the draft and a good HC that can develop a QB.

It is, in a way. You need an OL though. Some RBs are special, but the majority can't do shit with the DL in the backfield. Biggest thing for a RB is vision. Have to be able to see that hole, and have patience. I would never waste a 1st or 2nd round pick on a RB. With a few exceptions. Zeke is perfect for the NFL, with a great OL as well.

Assume you mean high draft picks? Not Bama. There's always a few that pan out. Still think you're better off building an OLine, and finding a RB in free agency or late rounds normally. Always exceptions to the rule, but more busts, or average RBs, than stars in the first two rounds.
