What do you guys do to get all that cash home with you when you go to Vegas? That's the main reason I've never bet in Vegas cause you get taxed on anything over like what 5K? and you can't bring more than 10K cash past TSA to get on the plane home or they suspect you of being a drug dealer/terrorist and confiscate it. So how do you guys go about getting over 5 figures home with you when you go on your Vegas runs? My birthday is coming up and I'd actually like to go to Vegas and bet at the books there, if nothing else just for the experience, but it seems problematic moving all that cash home.

You assume everyone is from a big city and uses B A or Hells argo banks. I'm sure my local credit union doesn't have a branch in Vegas is why I asked. The better question is why doesn't Vegas offer payout options other than cash? Why don't you answer me that? If they just wrote people checks it would make things 10 times easier.

So you guys are telling me you can just hop on a flight from Chicago or Kansas City or wherever with like $10K in your pocket and land in Vegas, hit books, then get on the return flight with $25K and nobody asks any questions or anything? What about the TSA screenings? I find that hard to believe but if that's really true I feel like a complete idiot for not knowing this. That's literally the only reason I never go to Vegas was my understanding that this wasn't possible.

How old are you MikeTizzy? Idk if I'd wanna share a room necessarily but if you're in the 25-35 range you seem like the type of person that I"d hang out with. I'm all business, I don't care about seeing shows or getting drunk, like most people that go to Vegas. I'd go there to hit books.

it is domestically but once you go internationally and have to go through customs you have to declare the cash if you dont you will have a lot of questions to answer

Why do cops routinely seize people's money when they drive on the interstate and there is no evidence of any crime being committed such as stolen guns or drug paraphernalia? It's called civil asset forfeiture. Look it up if you've never heard about it. The cops suspect people of being a drug dealer or terrorist if they have "too much" cash on them. The term "too much" is arbitrary also. It depends on what state you're in and the mood of the cop. One day it might be $10K the next $5K, the next a measly $900. It happens to people every day in this country. So why would flying be any different? It's still interstate travel.

Thats correct lol. I had them in 2 separate envelopes, was in the luggage as I passed security checks. I carried it on board tho. Never got a question about them, only about my laptop lol. And yep I'm in that middle of that age range, and I'm all business too when it comes to Vegas. They gave me a free weekend stay on next time. And the unit is 2 separate rooms, it's a pretty bad ass suite. :Cheers:

You said you're from Chicago right? I'm originally from St. Louis. We might have to get together and hit the books sometime. All of my friends my age, late 20's to early 30's are all tied down, so to speak with multiple kids or a ton of debt. So needless to say they can't just hop on a flight to Vegas with me. I was also incredibly ignorant of the fact that you could fly with large amounts of cash. So I'm definitely going to try out the Vegas books now. I wish I would've known about that sooner cause I would've preferred to put my Super Bowl futures in there instead of offshore.
