Lemon is good. No doubt. That falls in your ice box category. A good cold lemon pie is great in small quantities. Now Key Lime is almost always a disappointment. That's one of those pies that you're all excited about but it rarely delivers. Also a little key lime goes a long way.

Again, fruit pies fall into 6th or 7th place. That's just how it is. Not debating this.

Pecan pie is another good one. Very time specific though. Can't really imagine eating a pecan pie except around holidays. If you eat pecan or pumpkin pie any other time than Thanksgiving/Christmas than you're clearly a fukkin weirdo.

I specifically addressed this in an earlier post. Key Lime is the Floyd Mayweather of your pies. Lots of hype! You get so stoked when you're about to eat it. But then about 1/2 way through, you're all "meh..not all that exciting. Little disappointed."

little goes a long way..true it does get heavy, but as i live in south Fla nothing better after a good grill out in the summer..small slice will do.

Richie and I have very different tastes in pies.

ZERO chance I ever pick cherry. And although I would eat banana cream, it's nowhere near my top 5.

I'll always choose cream pies over any other kind...

1) Cocunut Cream (this is a clear cut champion. GOAT of all pies)
2) Chocolate Cream (if it's a good chocolate cream, it's awesome. Lot of this depends on the cream. Merengue nowhere near as good)
3) although not truly "cream" pies...this is where your custard pies fall. Buttermilk, Sweet Potato, Pumpkin.

That's pretty much how your pies rank. These are facts. Not an opinion. Also, pies way better than cake. Anyone who says different is a douche.
