yeah I did. you can argue one way or the other about the usc team that was on probation where really he just lost a couple of games that he shouldn't have after usc was still drunk on what pete carroll had built, but he did not bomb at tennessee. folks in knoxville are still absolutely livid that he left. he didn't inherit any talent (they lost to wyoming the year before), still took them to 8-4, was a blocked field goal away from beating eventual national champion alabama (closest they've come to beating bama post-fulmer), and got scrub qb jonathan crompton into the nfl. they definitely didn't run him out of tennesee. he left in the middle of the night for usc.
