Great resume for Hall of fame even if no rings. If he can even put just 2 seasons like this together, he's a HoF lock.

Not having any rings takes nothing away from him. We need more players like him. We dont need him joining the Cavaliers or Warriors for a chance to get a ring. Westbrook at the Thunder creates some balance in the NBA. It's silly to have 2 super teams and 28 non-contenders in the league. Some games these days are simply unwatchable. I'm glad a player like Westbrook gives some fans reasons to watch a team that has little chance of making a conference finals.

False. He signed an extention for 3 years with the option becoming a free agent after 2017-18 season. So he is Okc for at least 2 years and if he had any intentions of leaving he wouldn't have signed the extention in the summer

You know the reason he's even getting 6 rebounds is because his big men block out entirely to get him his numbers. Just watch 10 minutes of Thunder ball, with every miss the big men don't even attempt to get a rebound, they look for Russ to come in out of nowhere to get it. Usually the case cause he's not even trying to guard his man on D.

True. I think he is an awesome talent, and love to watch him play. Too bad he tends to have meltdowns in crucial games in the spring. Many great players don't have rings, no problem there.

They mostly do this on purpose so when russ gets the board he can push it up the court quickly lebron james style. I give him till all star break before he will be injured playing this way.

Oh I believe they do it on purpose so he can push the pace, but there's no need for it. The Nash Suns weren't worried about him grabbing rebounds, they just needed to get him the ball right off the rebound. He has a rebounding rate higher than Davis, that's not because he's a beast on the boards, not at all. It just irks me seeing the team buy into sacrificing everyone's numbers just to make Russ look good. There's a reason why with these crazy stats he's only 3rd in PER, his usage rate is embarrassing. Just look at that TS%, terrible.

OKC is one man away from being a very bad team. It is their own fault... they allowed a jerkoff to push all of the talent to other teams.

You probably said the same thing when KD left. Westbrook signed a three year deal bud. Not a one year deal.

He he did this knowing he wasn't going to win a ring this year. So I'm not sure why you think he would leave.

He is here for at least two years bc the third year is an option. OKC is going to try to get a big free agent after this season I just dont know who they can get. Blake Griffin is from OKC and played at OU but that doesn't mean anything.

Honestly I don't think Westbrook is a ring chaser. It's him against the world. He wasn't a ring but he would rather do it alone. I think he would be fine winning MVPs and getting triple doubles on a playoff team he is leading.

As an OKC fan I'm pissed that we had three potential MVPs on the same team and couldn't win it. Durant Harden Westbrook. We were the original Super Team.
