Look, none of us knows what Trump said to Carrier. But somewhere in the conversation I'm willing to wager the point was made to Carrier's parent company that the White House has a lot of influence in seeing that the $10 billion UT won in federal contracts this year (or whatever the actual number is) can get cut to $2 billion next year without much difficulty.
