It has been said that off the field conduct doesn't come into play at all. As for Mr. Sharper, he'll be rotting in jail for the next two decades and won't be able to attend. How on earth can they have any type of ceremony celebrating him? Lawrence Taylor looks like a choir boy compared to Sharper.

I think they have to keep him nominated as an elector nominated him.
I don't think they have to put him in the Hall. In fact, his chances of getting voted in are slim to none, as far as I've seen.
