I totally disagree. Big ten is the best conference in football now, and have several very good teams. They beat the shit out of each other. I do believe that UM and OSU are still in the top-4 in the country, and present the best chance or knocking off Bama.

The Big 10 does not deserve 2 teams in a 4-team playoff. Take a look at that conference and you'll see a lot of crappy teams. Let's hope those Playoff Head Honchos learn from this and expand to an 8-team playoff. 5 conference champs and 3 at-large.

If they all win....it will be #1 Bama, #2 Clemson, #3 Washington, and #4 Ohio State....you have to reward the championship with something...higher seeding at the very least.

No way Ohiio State is #4, they will probably stay #2 or at worst drop to #3 - not that the order of 2 and 3 matters at all. Committee will want Alabama vs. Ohio State championship game.

Can we all be honest here. This playoff is also set up to maximize ratings and money. Penn state does not draw interest period. They would be 14 point dogs to any team they played in the playoff. Who really wants to watch them play? Alabama/Ohio state/Michigan/Clemson. These are the teams we want to see. Maybe Oklahoma but they don't have a shot to get in. They put these games on one of the hardest days to draw ratings so they need to be teams that people will cancel their plans to watch. Penn state is not one of those teams. Let's just move on the 4 teams will be set with the above

Clemson -7.5 over Penn State
Washington -7 over Penn State

Big 10 is a pussy conference. There is 4 teams that are worth a shit then the rest of the schedule is basically bye weeks. I guarantee if Michigan gets in and plays Bama they will get routed by at least 28+. Their offense is a pile of shit but piled up the points early on cupcakes making themselves look good, even though they had probably one of the most embarrassingly easy schedules of all time.

USC would kick both UM and Ohio State's butts and do so rather easily. The "Big Game" was a big bore for over three quarters. This is all hype and noting else. Now the Committee can do this two ways. If they want the best four teams as of today, you get Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson and USC. If they want Conference Champions, you get total chaos. If Florida, Wisconsin, Colorado and Va Tech all win out, would that be your Playoff list? Neither one of those scenarios will happen. Instead, you will get some combination of wins and losses to determine who plays who. No matter what happens on Friday and Saturday, someone is going to be pissed off on Sunday for being excluded from the Playoffs.
