Dead wrong! The kid has already proven he can play at this level. That's the one thing you look for in a QB's rookie season. He should just count his lucky stares that he didn't go to Cleveland. The kid is a level headed, athletically gifted, strong-accurate arm that has to go through the growing pains of the position. I have witnessed many great QB's go through the same thing.

The game won't mean anything and it's on New Years Day. Won't be anything like a normal Eagles/Cowboys game. I've been to Birds/Boys almost every year since the finale in '08. No interest in seeing a meaningless game this year.

This shows you how little you really know about football. See if this penetrates that vacuum in your skull. Philly is 5-8. They are OUT of the playoffs. This is the best time to get your rookie QB some experience under game time conditions. He still gets to finish the season at home against the Giants and Cowboys, and that can determine who wins the NFC North. This is the perfect time for the kid to get some much needed experience for 2017.
