      Interesting, sir.

I'm just trying not to be left out on the curb and end up spending 1K, and then everyone else is like Oh didn't you see the amazing deals, I just got a sweet-ass desktop with an i7, 16g of RAM, 2 TB hard drive, free 27" IPS LED monitor and I spent 100 dollars total. Oh, you missed that? Sucks for you. Lol.

I totally agree with the OP on this. Was looking for deals on a variety of different things... 20% off is a deal? I wrote down a few prices about 3 weeks ago on select items.... if anything... 5-8% was knocked off. That's savings? That makes a consumer run up a credit crd? As a consumer... you still have to do your homework. Write model numbers down... check different websites... some are free shipping... some are tax free.

I haven't purchased one item yet for anyone.... I didn't see anything outrageously special... to JUMP ON IT.

Consumers are stupid. Can't believe people wait in line... buy meaningless sh#$ and act like they got an amazing deal on it?

Capy... I'm not a huge fan on DELL but they might have a deal.... and also HP. Usually the lowest when it comes to computers.

            Thanks, guys.

Harry, no, not a gamer, but I do want a reasonably powerful machine just because why not? You never know how much multi-tasking you may be doing, so the faster the processor, the better, and the more RAM to handle the tasks the better, right? Why not? I'm also not a big "changer" -- once I own something I own it for a LONG-ASS time, lol. I'm writing to you now on my WORK laptop because my HOME desktop is a Dell from 2006 believe it or not which is now coughing up blood and on life support. Served me fine but is toast now.

So while I don't need a crazy-awesome machine, I'd like something solid. Like Best Buy had some doorbuster deal I guess that I missed out on that seemed good because it was an HP with an i5 I wanna say, with good stats, AND it came with a free 24" monitor and the whole thing was like 599. But missed out on that.

There is a Micro Center not far from where I live. Was gonna buy there before I started thinking about Black-Cyber-Friday-Monday BS. Maybe they have special deals too.

Figure out what you want - go to ebay to get the best deal - PERIOD

Only buy from sellers with high ratings, you CANNOT go wrong - better CS than any brick and mortar retailer.

Amazon was pretty solid today. had firestick and fire tab for 30 bux. perfect for a few xmas gifts. they had a 50 in. tv for $145, but only the early birds got that. if u don't mind a grade a refurb pc with decent stats go to tanga.com.
