#7No kidding the economy is good. Has been accelerating for the last couple years, but it didn't fit the Republican rhetoric until they could attribute to Trump rather than the black guy.
America is already great. Now Trump slaps his name on it and says it's great again. Brilliant, really. Just gotta try not to fukk up a cushy inheritance.Last edited by d2bets; 11-25-16, 03:11 PM.Comment -

#13I didn't say you're a racist. What I said is true. Republicans set out to brand Obama a failure regardless of facts or evidence. I guess they succeeded in some sense.Comment -

#22Say what you will, but Trump has created a very favorable position from a purely strategic point of view. His base loves him and will stick with him, even if he does concede on a number of policy issues--he's going to negotiate to a degree and that's not a shock to most supporters. At the same time, the dem party has suffered losses on all fronts. Their base turns off a lot of Americans in key battle ground states. If they double down and play to their base, that plays into Donald's hand as he will increase his appeal by party contrast. If they move more to the middle of the road, which would likely mean finding common ground with Trump in a number of areas, he will be able to bill himself as successful and will increase his appeal among Americans who are sick of the political divide.
My read from a purely strategic point of view.Comment -

#27It's almost impossible for Trump to fukk up. Obama was teeing it up for Hillary, but now Trump steps up to the tee. As long as he doesn't get us killed, it'll be a win. He's already ignoring intel briefings. Have a bad feeling another 9/11 type hits his first year. Seriously hope not.Comment -

#343rd quarter GDP growth was 2.9%. It's called accelerating growth. Growth was/is ramping at a sustainable pace. Not good if it got way too hot coming out of the recession. Slow and steady acceleration wins. Economy really hitting its stride right now. No one can say Trump isn't great at getting winning inheritances.Comment -
