They were 3-7. Go for two.
Is this a clickbait overreaction thread? None of those guys are getting fired except maybe Strong.

I would think Chip Kelly not making a bowl game and getting waxed by USC next week could seal his fate

Charlie Strong is done today. Texas about to lose to 1-9 Kansas, who's lost 23 straight games against FBS teams.
UT players clearly tanked this game. I feel real bad for Strong. he was a grad assistant at UF when I played..

Only thing that makes sense is a lack of recruiting...not coaching

Kansas fans rush the field after finally winning a FBS game in over 2 years. All 500 of them took over the 50 yard line. LOL

I agree with Kingsbury statement 100%
Whoever gave this ho mo a chance put a gun to your head.
Zero quality in leading a team... and head coach material.

Strong will get immediate defensive coordinator offers all over the place. The guy can recruit and turn up a defense. He was sandbagged in Austin and never given a real chance.

strong is the only really obvious name mentioned so far... no idea on lsu interim coach . probably oregon coach too
tuberville in cinncinati must be done.......... completely botched having a #1 overall recruit at QB
no mention of rrod at arizona?
seems like alot of underperforming teams have fairly new coaches

Wouldn't surprise me if Strong or Miles was hired to clean up the mess at Baylor. Mike Singletary wants it too

I was wondering if RichRod would be gone too but he may convince the school that his team did poorly because his players were injured.

I was coming in here to give him a mention this morning too.
Strong almost in tears at post game interview so he knows he is done.
Hugh Freeze at Ole Miss might happen. Scandals hanging over him still, losing to Vandy. He might leave on his own and get out while he can still get offers.

Dave Roberts, he used up the bullpen arms and over used Kershaw's arm in the series.

No sense in C. Strong's coaching performance. UT is a recruiting powerhouse, even if they didn't try and recruit a single player.

It all depends on what is offered to the HC's who are not on this list. We know that Strong and LSU's Orgeron are finished. Orgeron just cannot win the big games. Purdue's HC Hazell is also finished, going 9-38 so far in nearly four seasons. Oregon's Helfrich is certainly on thin ice. Ditto for Baylor's Grobe, though he may be in better shape. Mark Stoops got Kentucky to a Bowl Game so he will be around for another season at Kentucky.
The big question is which coaches will jump ships to take a job at another school. Jimbo Fisher's name has been circulated all over LSU. Tom Herman is ticketed for Texas. If those two coaches move, that opens up jobs at Florida State and Houston. Does Rich Rod want to go back to the Big 10? If so, Purdue's job should be available. Then that opens up a spot at Arizona. Colorado's Mike Macintyre has also been mentioned as a possibility at several colleges.
