1012 non-pros got axed, including #4 entry who already had earned 3500 pts and had a good chance to cash.

For 10 weeks, 2/3 of the field were able to fuk around and take points that are practically worthless to them.

I went from 89 to 56 in BTP. So, 37% in the top 100 and currently "in the money" didn't turn pro. This is further proof non-pros are going to stay non-pros regardless of BTP.

Compare the results next year, make it Pros only and see the amount of people who turn pro to join vs prior years.

lol...put's me back in top 10. I think it sounded better to be in the top 10 of 1700 (though more like 1500 with all the late entries) than to be in the top 10 of less than 700.

I went from top .5% to top 1.5%...

But these are all numbers, it's now time for the race to the top.

you absolutely don't have to, except you'll get nothing from said contest in the form of prizes other than points which cannot be used for anything other than a t-shirt? if you are a non-pro

It's because the non pros have been removed and it's showing what the payout would have been now (470), instead of the actual payout you got (328) with the non-pros included.

I was a non pro who renewed my pro status with 3000 points from winning a parlay off of a winning btp week.

So the points were useful to me at least.
