I would ask her to explain what happened (unless she came home crying), as in were they playing? are they her friends? did she ask them to stop? etc. Get to the bottom of it and then decide.

I use to play whiffle baseball in the backyard with my brothers, double or nothing (had to hit a double), and peg outs--this was the best part. Whiffle balls cause bruising real easy from what I remember. Just something to keep in mind.

Point of my story was to say that whiffle balls cause bruising a lot easier than what most people would think. Reading more of LKID's posts and seeing they weren't playing--real bizarre stuff. I'd never viciously pick on a girl at that age (or any age, that seems so weak).

Go to the kids parents. See if they respond. Get names, go talk to people, let them know that you know. No cooperation? Got to school and say it happened on their turf. That shit will stop. At least open a line of communication, it might be innocent. Might not.
