One of the Best World Series Ive ever Watched
Seen plenty in my 47 yrs of existance. This one takes the cake for Dramatics and excitement as well as multiple pitching changes and weird calls by mgrs. I saw the yankees and dodgers during the 70s and early 80s saw the royals saw the mets witnessed the yankees dominance the early 2000s then watched the Redsox get rid of their curse and now the Cubs
    Playoff Baseball what a game
    Thanks MLB it was exciting

Common now, this was not better then the Yankees vs Arizona game. The Yankees had two run lead with Mariano Rivera coming in the 8th to seal it. Rivera was flawless and has never been rattle by anybody until that point in his entire career. Randy Johnson got hit during that comeback.

Game sixth when St. Louis playing Texas was also amazing. The Cardinals were down two runs in the ninth to tie the game and win it.

Unbelievable how short memory people are. If Chapman didn't blown that save, it would of been just another snoozer.

Very good game 7 and epic comeback being down 3-1 by the Cubs. Yankees Arizona was epic. Cleveland Marlins in 97 game 7 was another heart stopping as well.

Best for me was Braves Twins early 90s. Twins win at home game 7.

Joe Buck was also blowing John Lester, going so far as to compare his performance in Game 7 to Madison Bumgarner's

I guess the hair plugs got to Joe. He must have missed the part where due to Lester's refusal to field his position, Ross had to make a tough play which resulted in a 2 out error. Then, Lester spikes a bad pitch, causing 2 runs to score. Fox is lucky for the bottom of the 8th. I bet a lot of people stopped watching at 6-3.

I really enjoyed it as well. Kind of reminded me of the 2012 Super Bowl when the lights went out...Cleveland lost momentum with the weather delay. Really cool finish too, as Cleveland nearly evened it up.

Game 7 wasn't even good until maddon let it happen. Best series was 1991. 2001 was great

cubs do have 6th highest payroll in baseball, it doesnt always equate winning but its not that hard to get to playoffs when you basically have a blank check

Yankees vs Arizona was better but that was quite a ride. the baseball folklore 50 years from now of the rain delay that saved the cubs!
