Good work Dom. Question, you mentioned having a SMU to win AAC prop a few weeks ago. What price did you get on that?


I'm holding a 300/1 SMU to win national title ticket (now down to 75/1) just for the hell of it so I'm curious.

I got 10/1 on SMU to win AAC. Here's a dumb question... What happens if they tie with Cincy to share the reg season crown? Do I get paid out full 10/1, or does it get split in half? Stupid question but it's been a while and I can't find the rules anywhere now lol.

It's nice to have a juicy 300/1 ticket to hold going into tourney time isn't it! I got 150/1 on Florida State pre-season so I'll be rooting hard for them. Have the most money on Kansas at around 7/1-10/1 though.

Here are BetOnline's rules in regards to your scenario. Not sure if this is standard across the board for most books or if it's book specific. I don't play through BetOnline....it's the only thing I found in search.

NCAA Conference Odds to Win

• Winner of each conference will be determined by the team that acquires the lowest seed in the conference tournament. If the event results in a tie; Winner will be determined by the team given lowest seed in the Conference Tournament. (Wagers are for regular season only)

I would assume h2h record would be the tiebreaker for determining lowest tournament seed, not sure what the second tiebreaker is. Coin flip in some conferences.

Looks like AAC seeds in order of standings (both are first place, 14-1) then tiebreaker is head to head (SMU & Cincy split) then compare records against next best team (their only losses are to each other lol). This is gonna get confusing if they both win out!

Ya that is really weird. I guess different places have different rules. I wonder what is the next check point?

I'd get clarification from book before it gets to that point and hope they tell you it splits. Then if by some chance SMU gets the 2 seed via a coin flip situation, then you have something to fall back on in case they grade it different than stated.

I mean I get the line... Clemson plays a ton of very close games, and FSU is jekyl and hyde at home vs. away. But you gotta think they kick into March gear and get a winnable road win here. Way deeper, more talented, more aggressive defensively and it's not like clemson has the most intimidating home court.

Dom what about your sparty team catching 2 at home today? This Wisky team has struggled on the road the last two games. Might come a little more focused today. Hard to pass up any Izzo team catching points at home though.

Was eyeing this myself and likely going to play Sparty FH only because I don't like the line moving the wrong way given the money is coming in on MSU. Wiscy def slow starters on road for sure. You have to go back to the Illinois game to find a strong big 10 FH start for them on the road. All the rest they've been down or up 1 at half and the majority of those games they were road fav.

Sparty pretty dominant at home in big 10 so the game line has me scratching my head.

Yes, the way Wisconsin has played since the Northwestern loss at home makes NU's win less and less impressive, though it should still count for a lot.
