VERY rough weekend. One of the worst in a long time.

Gotta get on a roll this week. Won't chase but won't take a break either. Let's roll.

why indiana? Maryland looks strong at home. Bunch of long term losing touts are also on Indiana and they have caused the sheeps to move the line in favor of Indiana. Maryland +2 and moneyline holds value.

Reading the line, it opened as PK which is way diff than opening as -2 road fav. I don't deal with touts so I pay no mind there. With that said, maryland hasn't been as strong at home this season as the last few years. Indiana had a brutal schedule and couldn't squeeze out a W but finally beat up a weak illinois team and while maryland is better I just don't see them keeping up in scoring with IU, they don't have enough different playmakers to do so.

Sparty to bounce back tomorrow right? I can't believe Minny is ranked, are they that good? I haven't seen much of them this year other than when they blew that lead to Sparty a couple weeks ago. Weird scheduling, two games in two weeks.

Minnesota is good, like top 5 in the B1G good, we all expected them to be one of the most improved teams. Amir Coffey is excellent. But that MSU win in OT at Minnesota a couple weeks ago showed me a lot. 1) Minny took full advantage of home refs, going to the FT line FORTY-FIVE times! That likely won't happen in EL. 2) Later in the second half, Spartans discovered that center Nick Ward had an excellent mismatch down low and he went off, single handedly responsible for the comeback. I doubt Izzo waits 30 mins to go to Ward down low this game.

Minny has a tendency to play MSU close, with 3 OT games in as many seasons, but students are back at school and the Izzone will be rocking. Harris always has the chance to get hot from deep and blow out any opponent. For me it's MSU-4 or nothing.

Eh idk, haven't dug into it. I don't like either team, and think neither Illinois nor Michigan make the tourney. Only UofM player I really like is Mo Wagner. Illinois is like a jekyl & hyde team, but Dr. Jekyl is like a nurse's assistant not a real doctor lol.

I commend you on your constant support of MSU. I don't think they are a very talented squad. Interested to see this game though. Minnesota has been playing fairly well.

I did a little write up in another thread, basically it took sparty 30 mins to discover the huge mismatch down low Nick Ward had - and he led the entire comeback win. Now they know that up front. Minnesota took 45 free throws - FORTY FIVE - at the Barn, good luck getting that on the road. Finally, students are back and Izzone will finally be rocking for the first time in a month.

Ya I bet on that game with you. A crazy amount of fouls were called for Minn. MSU is missing that one guy to step up and glue everyone together. Valentine was that guy last year and they really miss him. They have talent just need to age that talent.

With that being said I do like the revenge angle here. Just trying to decide if it is enough for me to put my money down on it.

NC State was embarassed last game. I would be very surprised if they don't bring it. BC has been playing well, but I think that was a fluke.

I dunno. They've won two games outright as 10 point dogs (Auburn and Providence), and made it respectable @ Duke. Not sure if that's fluky.

Solid point on NC St though.

Remember basketball is a streaky sport. Average teams can play like great teams for short runs (which can be a few games). Especially when they start believing in themselves. I just look at this game like this. NC State was thrashed last game. BC been playing well enough to beat some good teams. To me that means that NC State comes in and plays.

Yeah, I'm pissed I didn't back my hometown Eagles... I looked at that one and said Damn, I'll take 5.5 at home against NC State... and then just never went back to it. Great win!

I made money tonight, but it was one of those frustrating nights where almost every lean I had came to fruition... A&M rolled LSU... Sparty coasted (I foolishly laid off it)... Houston rolled... I left money on the table. Went 3-2 for a profit but feel like could have gone at least 6-2, lol.

I was 6-0 and I even missed the early games where i wanted houston 1st half and vcu 1st half but was trying to control volume. Missed a couple others that I saw and was like play that but didn't because I kept winning and was thinking I'm due for a loss. Go figure.
