I can't believe what I just saw.... the amazing display of NOT using timeouts correctly and then that happens?

I was never really worried the entire game. I'm not sure if it's because I know this team wouldn't win in the playoff so the season doesn't really matter, or if it's because I had faith in them.

Louisville can beat, and maybe blow out, any team in the country at home but on the road they just aren't very good. Maybe next year they'll be better on the road.

I picture more of the same next week at BC, a blow out of Wake at home, then a close game that could go either way @Houston before smashing UK (who, somehow, is in 2nd in the SEC East and will be tied for 1st with a UGA win over Florida).

Terrible week to lay this egg, with the playoff rankings coming out they'll definitely be behind the overrated Buckeyes.

Got the WV loss today, a Baylor loss would kill the Big 12 and all the Pac 12 has left is Washington. Need them to lose at Wazzou last week of the season or lose in the conf title game. Outside of that, it'll come down to UL, OSU, and Texas A&M. OSU still has Michigan left as well

Yes, all the Pac-12 has is Washington but Washington isn't losing. The Pac-12 is terrible. Washington is a good team, but they get a cake walk through the conference. Wazzu went 1-2 out of conference with losses to FCS Eastern Washington and Boise State. Their sole non-conference W is against the Idaho penetrating Vandals. They're going to get smoked by the Huskies.

The only way I see Washington losing is in the conference championship in a rematch against Utah. Hard to gauge exactly how good the Huskies are, but if they're the #4 seed and playing Alabama at anything less than +14 I'll be all over the Tide.

OSU will make it over Louisville due to their name. I picture Baylor losing today (currently tied) or at least once, maybe twice, in their following 3 games (TCU, @OU, K-State) then probably again in Morgantown to end the year.

I know how Louisville football works though, and they'll lose at Houston if they're in the top 4 in the playoff rankings heading in to it. It's what they always do.

Have to agree, Astro. I think we'll slip up somewhere. I just PRAY TO GOD it isn't at home vs UK last game of the season. I think USC could give them issues though. With the new QB, they've been awesome offensively

Nah I don't see them losing at home. I picture them demolishing UK. Petrino doesn't like UK and Louisville dominates at home (the Duke game is an outlier)

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but if Louisville is #4 or #5 heading into the UK game then that could help. There is still a chance that UK wins the East (wow). If UGA beats Florida today (completely doable). The Gators still have to travel to Arkansas and LSU.

UK gets UGA at home next week, if the Bulldogs win today I could easily see them losing next week as a letdown. Then they just have to beat Tennessee in Knoxville. I know that never happens, but this UT team is all about playing down to their competition so it could happen.

If a 8-3 UK team comes in to Louisville as the East division champs of the SEC, so probably ranked around 15th, then gets throttled by 40+ that could be enough to move Louisville up if need be.

Again, not that likely but much more likely than I would have thought at the beginning of the season.

We're media darlings now though Astro. The only 1 loss teams that can catch us are OSU and a 1 loss SEC team (A&M). If both have 2 losses and Wash. suffers a loss, it doesn't matter about the margin of victory, we're in. Having the Heisman frontrunner is a big deal as well. Big time draw for a potential playoff game

True, I'm hoping Jackson wins the Heisman strictly from a recruiting standpoint. Should be able to get much better recruits with a recent Heisman winner, especially since he'll still be there next year.

It won't matter if they play like they did today though. Hoping it's more of them overlooking their competition, guess we'll see.

yeah, luckily this team should be on edge heading to BC next week. I doubt you see a flat performance 2 weeks in a row. Then we'll get Wake at home to close out ACC play. Game at Houston will be interesting. Houston looked down and out the past 2.5 games and then came back and beat UCF today at home. Little things like that could ignite their play but man they looked like trash lately
