How Are The Poker Games In Reno? Have U Played There Before?

I'm flying out there in under 2 weeks and will be there for about 5 days. I want to play a bit of poker out there. Have any of you played out there before? How are the games? Where is the biggest game? Easiest to beat game?

I typically play 3/5 or 5/10 NL. I'll also play 20/40 or 40/80 fixed limit.

Any advice? Thanks in advance.

500 is 1 unit for me in sports betting.

Reno is one of the worst poker cities in the USA

Only room worth playing would be the Peppermill and the floorman might faint if you ask for 5/10 NL. They did have 30/60 limit on the board but got no interest on a Friday night. Played the biggest game there, 2/3NL 1.5k max, for a few hours and gave up and got the fuk out of Reno. What a sh*thole

Poker is very hit and miss in Reno. Never seen or played in a game bigger than 1-2 NL. If you like lobster, All you can eat at Boomtown which is about 15 minutes away from downtown.

I usually play Omaha, but whenever I'm in the Hold 'em mood I always search out 2/5NL, they are usually the softest games loaded with tourist donks...5/10 or big spread limit games you run into a lot of grinders/pros so even though its a "smaller" game the 2/5 is always the best imo

Kickles, I'll believe SharpAngles on this one. Been a few years since I've been to Reno:

* Found 2 good Poker-room for Limit and No-Limit. One downtown (Eldorado) and one a bit of a drive (Atlantis??).

* Daily tournaments at Cal Neva. Low-budget, but fun. CalNeva also had an Omaha cash-game running.

I was talking about Vegas (Caesars and Bellagio very very juicy 2/5NL) I didn't read the title of thread close enough...ain't no f*ckin action in Reno, don't you have to be like over 65 to even go to that city?
