A few things.

They really don't like being outphysicaled. Especially Curry and Durant.

They lost some depth. They are thin on the front line.

Finally the chemistry is a major issue.

I love the dumbfukks who penciled this team in for 70+ wins again as if that's an easy accomplishment.

Agree with you about blowing out bad teams.. but I mean curry Durant and green are doing their jobs IMO.. Thompson having an unusually bad night and the bench is basically invisible vs spurs 33 bench points..

Andrew Bogut and Barnes were studs on defense who did all the dirty work and never asked for a shot and let Curry and Thompson take all the shots and constantly set screens for them till they got hot behind the Arch. Add that loss to the departure of Barbosa and Ezili another rim protector backing up Bogut and the Warriors are in big trouble on Defense, the Glass, and the bench. This team is gonna collapse they can't run their starters 48 mins since there's no bench and they can't keep anyone from scroring either

Now that is said... I will say that this GSW loss is very damaging. I do think they win and cover their next game, but I may have been wrong about this. They obviously do not appear to be prepared to dominate. It is just game one... but I think it is a bit telling. They are not in the correct frame of mind.

NBA seasons are long and hard... but Champions come out of the gate with a vengeance. SA gets the nod, along with Cleveland of course but we all need to watch Portland as a cover machine going forward. We need to look at NYK and GSW as a fade machine going forward

I bet the GSW braintrust knew exactly what they were doing.
They knew 73 wins doesn`t guarantee a ring.

I am not sure what % of the decision to sign KD was to keep him away from their competition, but
it was definitely factored in.

That being said, they will be able to find some missing pieces via trade.

Anyone who doesn`t think watching the way the Spurs play inside/out, some mid-range vs. watching the the Dubs
hitting/taking/jacking 3 after 3 after 3 is simply better basketball is the same guy I would walk away from at a bar after 3 minutes shaking my head.
