Doctors say they can't fix the knee. Sam Bradford trade looks like a brilliant move by Vikings right now.

#4That sucks. He had a few good games. 5 TDs against the Bears last year. Many QBs play their whole career and never score 5 in one game.Comment -

#9yeah I think it is just an over reaction from quotes from docs giving their opinion on the nature of the injuryOriginally posted by slambamWhere you see this? I've seen 1 report and it's from a guy who hasn't even looked at Bridgewaters knee.

#15Anyone remember Tiger Woods? He won his last major in a playoff with Rocco Mediate. In doing so he managed to blow up his knee instead of withdrawing. Since that incident his wife divorced him and took half his money, Nike is not making golf equipment anymore and he hasn't played golf for a long time.
And Tiger plays golf and not QB in the NFL!Comment -

#16That's hard to believe with a non contact injury in practice that his career is over. Very few young players are done because of knee injuries. The technology is so much better than even 10 years ago. Shady McCoy had a bone through the skin, ap had two contact injuries and came back, now the Achilles is another storyOriginally posted by daneblazerThey've been saying this since the day after his injury. #17Well, that was informative. So the why from the article headline is that it was a bad injury, no details.Originally posted by LT Profits

#18Pretty much ended Lattimore. This wasn't a good one...from what I understand it was similar. Some guys just aren't built wellOriginally posted by seaborneqThat's hard to believe with a non contact injury in practice that his career is over. #19Lattimore was full contact and a rollover. No way can you tear up a knee like lattimore without contact. Chubb even came back within a year of a nasty looking contact knee injuryOriginally posted by daneblazerPretty much ended Lattimore. This wasn't a good one...from what I understand it was similar. #20No, 14 months to two years to recover. He is doing therapy and rehab and on schedule. 20 years ago - I agree - no shot - 10 years ago - shaky - Start adding up the guys with acl's - tommy John's - etc., etc. it is a big number - this can be done in this day and age!Comment -

#24The NFL will still be searching for qb's in 2 years. He is accurate - he works out - will build arm strength - he might lose some mobility but look at all the qb's that are not great runners! His arm-brain - timing and eye-hand coordination are his gift - he is not in the NFL because he can/could run fast!Originally posted by daneblazerSay he does have 14mo to 2 years.
