The Cubs being bigger faves vs the Indians than they were the Dodgers is rediculous. The Indians are much more of a complete team and they have home field.

No, line makes sense because only time Cubs will not be decided favorites is vs. Kluber in Cleveland. Conversely, DODGERS CLOSED AS FAVORITES in 4 of the 6 games vs. Cubs! Cubs only closed as favorites in the two Lester starts.

I also think Lester opens. I'd guess they keep Arrieta in gm3 like before. Either way I'm sure it's Lester to open, why wouldn't they.

Arrieta was scheduled to work Game 7 Sunday, Maddon does not want him to have too many days off. If Arrieta does not go Game 1, then he definitely goes Game 2. Games 3-4 should already be etched in stone with Hendricks, Lackey. Hendricks will NOT pitch Game 2 because that would be on three days rest.

Excellent valid point. And as I said, would set up to have two best pitchers Lester, Hendricks for Games 6-7.

All of this. Plus, Hendricks in Game 3 means at Wrigley where he has excelled and just excelled. It's an ideal setup. And if Hendricks goes in a Game 7, you feel good because he is unflappable and doesn't beat himself.
