They only play @ FSU every other year so it's not that many meetings, plus the talent disparity between the schools was huge until more recently. Just look at the lines--they weren't EXPECTED to win those games or keep em close. One could take the same facts and say Clemson has actually OVERPERFORMED at Doak over the last 10 years, covering 4 of their last 5 there including an outright win and taking the Noles to OT in their last visit. Not sure if people would actually care what happened 2004 and before, or whether anything before each program's current regimes is even relevant.

Great points. And the only non-cover in the last 5 games in Tallahassee (2008) was due to (1) a letdown after Clemson beat BC (yes, BC was a tougher opponent at that time) and (2) Clemson's left tackle getting hurt during the game, which obviously was not factored into the spread. Clemson was up 10-0 in the 1Q, but when the LT went out, everything changed.

hmmm... I was at the 2006 game. Clemson was extremely lucky to win. So you are correct, they never even should have won even once.


But seriously...look at the last time they played at FSU. There is NO reason Clemson should have lost that game but they found a way. What'd they have, 5 fumbles on the goal line and a botched kick? That's the kind of stuff I'm talking about. Maybe it's 25 years of coincidence.... I'm guessing it's in their head.

Clemson's offense is in trouble this year. Even with Gallman, Williams, and Watson. Something is not right with them. FSU is even worse, their best players is a running back who hasn't had but a few good games this year. I'll take my chance with Clemson

I would love to see Clemson play like the Washington Huskies did in Oregon. Dak knows this is a game they must win to get into the championship bracket. All streaks and losses will stop someday except for maybe the Chicago Cubs streak. With that being said, I'm passing. Winning in Tallahassee is something the Tigers are not familiar with.
