Some people just want a "win" so bad they'll take the biggest favorite on the board and assume it wins. It's all psychological.

Should still go over the way its going but its playoffs and two good pitchers, ya never know. I remember a game this playoffs that radio guy said was gonna be a 1-0 game, might have been Nats/Dodgers dont remember, and I was thinking well there will be more than 1 freaking run scored, well the score was exactly that 1-0. Ive made a ton of crazy bets myself I cant lie. I just hope the Cubs start scoring and not the Dodgers.

This reminds me of the night many, many years ago when I was walking through a sports book in LV. I looked up at all the college basketball scores and I saw a halftime score that showed UConn had only scored 9 points in the first half. I can't remember what year it was, but I'm pretty sure this was when UConn was pretty good; it might even have been nationally ranked. But the point of the story is that I said to one of the guys who was with me, "If you had offered me a bet before that game with a first-half over-under of UConn reaching double figures, I would have pushed the value of my mortgage through the betting window." This is how I see the Cubs-Dodgers over 1.5; the bets that go the way they're supposed to 99.99 percent of the time, sometimes that one-tenth of one percent chance is the one that actually hits. Strange things do happen.
