Simply WAY TOO MANY sports shows with WAY TOO MANY unqualified analysts/commentators.

24/7 on TV , then add podcasts and we have quantity over quality.

I very rarely have the sound up when I am watching a game unless I want to hear an explanation of a controversial call.

On a side note, I watched 20 minutes or so of a HS football game last week. I couldn`t believe that these kids are allowed to celebrate EVERY SINGLE stock play. DBs were dancing and dabbing when a pass was overthrown and un-catchable. Simple tackles, 3 yard runs, ridiculous.

Sacks, TDs, game winning catches, runs, stops....I get and appreciate.

Someone should do a study to evaluate all this excess energy being burned and any effect it might have on performance later in the games.
