the birds might have been one of the stupidest movies ever made. If one person in that town pulled a shotgun out the movie would have been over in 10 minutes

I'm not a fan of horror films. I figured perhaps I should see why horror films are popular with some people. I went to see Hellraiser (1987) That was enough! Have not watched any horror film since then.

However the first 25 minutes of "Saving Private Ryan" deserves an honorable mention.

I remember renting first Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street when we were kids about age 12-13 when my parents went out.

Scary as shit. We were afraid to leave the living room or go outside so we pissed in my mom’s plants.

If I watch those today they are still a little scary, and a little funny, but nothing I watch will ever be as scary as when I was a kid.

the original king kong. when that long necked tyrannorsourous bit, chewed and spit out the poor soul who climbed a tree to escape it was classic. also, worrying about fay wray either getting crushed in king kongs hand or falling off the top of the empire state building had theater goers wetting their pants.
