Dallas Cowboys rookie quarterback Dak Prescott is all the rage now, and with that comes perks he likely never could have dreamed of, even when he was a very good college QB and one-time Heisman Trophy candidate. That all has changed dramatically since setting the NFL on fire in the early going.

Already, Prescott — who is 4-1 starting in place of Tony Romo and has yet to throw a pick — has hung out with Snoop Dogg after a game and chilled with 50 Cent before a game. And Prescott had one more strong offer, per Sports Illustrated: tickets to Kanye West’s “San Pablo” tour show that hit Dallas’ American Airlines Arena back on Sept. 22.
Prescott passed on the offer — and he’s a Kanye fan. So why did he stiff-arm the tickets? Well, for one, he needed the rest.
“I wanted to go a little bit,” Prescott said. “But I just think about the perception of it all. And I love my sleep.”

Pardon the impertinence of the question, but clearly we have reached the impertinent portion of the Dallas Cowboys schedule.

The part when the won-loss record really starts to matter. The part where Owner Jones is dancing as fast as he can.

The part where we’re all waiting for rookie quarterback Dak Prescott to multiply the next basket of loaves and fishes.

The part, too, where Tony Romo gets caught between an X-ray machine and a hard place.

And the question is, what happens if Prescott goes out Sunday and does it? What if he beats the Green Bay Packers, an opponent with no yeah-buts attached?

Dak Prescott has had a record-breaking start to his NFL career. And companies are lining up to get the Cowboys rookie quarterback as their spokesman.

Some of those businesses were hoping to speak with Prescott this week while the Cowboys are on their bye. But they'll have to wait.

Prescott asked his agent to postpone those meetings so he could spend his bye week with his grandmother in Louisiana.

A source told Omnisport Prescott had a couple of big endorsement deals lined up, but Prescott opted to spend time with his grandmother while he had some time off.
