Yep, if he doesn't take that short odd stutter step then easily safe. Cubs just can't seem to get the hard hit balls to fall. Still fighting, but eventually you may have to call of the dogs and live to fight another day.

Cubs hit the ball hard all night. Just at the defense. Giants hit dribblers, get lucky double plays, and help from other managers. No outs and they don't bunt, and the guy wins it. Everything seems to go their way in elimination games. 3-0 with Arrieta, that's usually counting money.

If Pence can find his 110% attitude, the Cubs are in trouble the next 2 games; but he has been a nobody the last few weeks for the Giants, and should be batting 8th and not 4th.

Yeah, I won't be surprised if there is a shootout tomorrow night; Lackey is only an above average pitcher, and the Cubs are a great against lefties; Moore will give up 5 or 6 runs in the 3 or 4 innings.

Moore is such a wild card. Can throw 8 shutout innings, or get knocked out in the first.
