why, because they lost yesterday and need this one. they don't seem to care that much. players don't like harper and werth. team has no chemistry whatsoever. players tired of playing baseball and just want to go home and spend their money. winning way overrated.

if you think players care more about winning than their contracts then you are sadly mistaken. not one player would give up another year (even the ones with paltry 1m contracts) of getting paid in exchange for winning a championship. why winning is so important to fans is mystifying. they get nothing out of it. 5 minutes of euphoria or get to go to dumb free parade. that's about it. what else. they get more enjoyment out of watching their team play 162 games and they think if they don't win it all it was a waste of time. absurd.

Of course no one would play a year unpaid for a championship, but you can see the shear emotion on the players faces when they win the championship. Grown men breaking down when they win and the same on the losing side. Money trumps everything, because a championship don't pay ur mortgage, keep the heat on, keep that bently parked in the garage. But you are mistaken if you think its means nothing because as we all know, if you don't produce championships or close to it you are gone for players who can

they've got a 50% chance to win today no doubt. just sayin if they don't their lives won't be ruined and will spend the winter sulking about it. half the roster will be gearing up to just make the team next year which is more important than this dodgers series. sure they toe the company line and say they want to win more than anything, but it's not really true.

Agreed but with the matchup today u are getting nats at +110 at some shops and i would put the nats at 59% chance of winning. If you cant see the value in betting nats all day gambling should only be a hobby for you

if you're not that good a player you will be gone from any team (only 1 team can win) players who produce will always find work regardless of how the team does. players would rather be a .300 hitter on a losing team than a .240 hitter on a winning one any day. that emotion they show lasts about 5 minutes both ways. it's shortlived.

agree with that. winning a bet is far more important than just being a fan and rooting for a team. outstanding value with the +110 on nats at home today. hope it gets there for you.

That emotion lasting 5 mins goes for a lot of shit in life. Time passes everything, emotions, losing a family member. Just because they don't go bat shit for the entire off season running around town showing off there ring don't mean they don't care. After 75% of pro athletes retire or get cut, and when the money runs out, the only thing left is the memories and championship rings

i used to think harper was one of the few in all of sports that was a gamer and cared more about winning
now not so sure
you can probably count on your hand the number of pros in all sports that care more about winning than money

All the pressure on the nats. And the dodgers have the better starter going. Good luck.

Liked the Dodgers today but an extra day of waiting in a hotel and a 10am body clock start Sunday make the Nats seem like a play. Interested to see the line on this. Might push it all in Dodgers if they keep game 3 as scheduled Monday. Brutal spot for the Nationals the next day after making that trip west.

The "remake" will be at 1:00 eastern, when the NFL starts...according to Heritage.

Fuk, I still have it pending, and tied with Alabama in a parlay too.
Not only have I not won, I will probably lose. My record in delayed and postponed games is terrible, just terrible.
NC State today hardly counts, it was a fugazi delay.
All I can say is that early afternoon today in this market is different than tomorrow morning when NFL starts. Different day, different time, could mean different bet.
