If you followed the play and put what you can afford on it and cashed, that is all that matters...some people just very unhappy in life and will do whatever they think is necessary to feel better about themselves...unfortunately that will only temporarily delay their unhappiness for a moment until it all comes back crashing down like a ton of bricks...
