I don't usually follow Wizzle but he's coincidentally on the same play as me for the second straight week. Last week Washington -3 was my GOY and this week the Hokies are my favorite play on the college card. I bet Tech on Sunday night and got +3 but I expect them to win outright.

I hate having big bets on games in sloppy weather and I didn't anticipate as much a week ago when I bet it, but in this case I think bad conditions should actually favor the Hokies. They have the better defense and better running game. I feel like Virginia Tech outplayed Tenn in the only game they lost, but constantly turned the ball over and the game slipped away. Hokies are a team to be reckoned with and I expect they'll make some noise from here on out.

If Beamer was still the coach, I'd have reservations about Tech because Beamer regularly came up short in these types of games, but Fuente has brought a more aggressive mindset offensively, and Bud Foster is always reliable with the D.
