I'll give a few comments. First off, I sure wouldn't say that Lamar has done NOTHING. Some facts:

1) He was the 32nd pick in the draft, last pick of the 1st round.
...This is important. Line him up to the QBs who have been drafted higher. Lamar has done a lot better than most of those guys.

2) Two-time MVP.
...Pretty good.

3) Lifetime earnings = quite high.
...Teams aren't obligated to pay him. Market deemed that he's worthy of that money.

4) As for team success? Ravens have won a lot of games. They've been close.
...He plays in the same conference as Mahomes, so that's the Super Bowl-blocker.
...Hasn't played his best in the playoffs. A little unlucky, IMHO.

5) In summary, my view is that he EXCEEDED my personal expectations from the time he was drafted.

When you started this thread, you sincerely believed Lamar was going to be a bust. Think Marcus Mariota or any number of guys that have "done nothing" in the NFL. Once Lamar started doing things that far exceeded "nothing" then you started narrowing your definition until it didn't even resemble your original thesis... As an NFL and sports fan I always thought doing big things was winning the biggest games in the sport you play in. Leemar has not done that. He can be a great regular season player I guess but to me the playoffs are what makes your name in sports. He has done nothing in that part.
