I just can't see the Jackets stopping them. Their pass rush has only gotten 5 sacks all year so far and Miami has only allowed two. Kaaya has been on fire throwing and going by the WR vs Corner match ups its all Hurricanes. Two deep Rbs to fall back on as well.

I just hate falling into the 'nobody can stop the triple option in a week' thing every year. It's one thing for non conference opponents but this is ACC play so Manny Diaz and Richt had it game planned. Canes defense is 4th in the nation in rush defense so far and tops for scoring defense. Haven't been scored on early yet and first downs given up all together rank top 15. I know its been against weak teams but considering App st vs Tennessee I looked at them closest in the margin of victory. It'll be a good game but past two seasons with the same teams same QBs only now with different HC for Miami and D Coord we had two double digit wins for The U.

Good luck either way. I don't mind being wrong, we can't get it right 100% of the time right.

Are you saying Miami is better offense than Clemson? Clemson only scored 26 points vs GT last week.

I most definitely would not say Miami's offense is better than Clemson's, but I wouldn't be surprised if Miami scored more than 26 points. Every week is different. This Miami team seems to have a different feel to it this year with a new coaching staff. They were one of the most under-achieving teams in the country under Golden. So much talented wasted. A buddy of mine is a big UM fan, and he's usually the most pessimistic guy on the planet when it comes to UM football, but even he is confident UM will stomp GT this weekend. I don't know how confident I am about a stomping, but I think they probably cover.

They haven't played anyone. Also, their D-coordinator hasn't coached against a triple option before. That, combined with true freshman linebackers = take GT +7.5 or stay away.

Florida A&M, FAU, and App St. Their defense hasn't faced anyone who can manhandle them yet. 2 sophomore DT's and 3 freshman LB's is a bad mix vs GT.

On Miami. The one thing nobody had mentioned yet is that GTech is just plain bad this year. Gimmicky offense, freshman defense, doesn't matter. Miami way more than 7 points better than GT right now.
