Emotional win...check

I've never formally tracked this, but I've noticed over the years that whenever tragic events happen involving sports, the team affected generally comes through for a win/cover. I have always referred to this as the "emotional win...check" plays, and when you say the word "check" you have to make a check mark in the air with your finger. I'm gonna start tracking these in this thread, assuming that I remember that I made this thread the next time disaster strikes.

Tonight we have Marlins +110 after the tragic death of Marlins ace Jose Fernandez. The real tragedy here is when I was going to put it in it was +120 and switched to +110 before it was accepted. However, nothing gets in the way of an "emotional win...check," so +110 it is.

Giant my buddy just texted me and was like "damn I missed your emotional Marlins game but how about saints tonight for the emotional win?" It's close but to me that's not a true "emotional win...check" game. The original Monday game right after Katrina was "emotional win...check" however if I was taking a side in the game tonight, I'd definitely put a check in the Saints column for the ten year anniversary of Katrina on Monday night game.

I will gladly accept a 40 spot from the saints as tribute to Katrina as I have over 53.5
