I want to say i read that Braves have one of the best batting percentages in the MLB since all-star weekend. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. If i can cash a -105 baseball ticket, I'd call that "value". Call it square

Batting average is a dinosaur stat. The Marlins have one of the best team batting averages in MLB and they're bottom 5 in runs scored.

I agree its my POD 10-4 in those l14. Boston has won 8x in a row. And archer is 0-4 6.85,era. Vs red sox this year. Polmz struggles in american league is obvious. But he is still a all star this year and tm is 3-3 when polmz pitches away. Somewhere in those stats i find value in a -110 boston. Vs a overall 8-18 archer. Gl.

When all you hit is singles, it's very difficult to score runs.

Hence, high batting average does not equal a lot of runs.

Both are fading. Id be suprised if either is in post season. But good luck. Houston suprised me some by putting themselves back in race this week. But they were in playoffs last year. Balt wasnt. Kc had a shot. Running hot in august but got swept by A.s at home 4 gms last week. Thats not the way a champion plays. At that point. I barely look at them. Anyway good luck jj.
