Not much I could do in this situation. I'm the kind of idiot who bets Action on baseball bets the night before a game. Line opened with Darvish at -126 and fluctuated around there. When he was scratched and Holland was announced it went to +125 or higher. I was priced in to putting a bit more on the Rangers because of this. It was a loss and seemed like one early on. I unfortunately don't have a positive cash flow bookie who'd have allowed me to bet Astros at +$ when they were up 3-1.

Agree ,but there is a exception - live when you see teams are struggling and cannot score take under. This is not a mortgage lock, but as close as possible to a mortgage lock

I must have been out of the game a while. My meaning of mortgage play is that I went more than a normal play, not that I'd ever want someone betting their mortgage payment on it.
