Oklahoma State has to be the dumbest team in football. There was 4 seconds left. All they had to do was punt the ball out of bounds and it would have been over.

I wonder if any books will try to get out of paying the people that had CMU ML. Could they say they don't have to pay since the ending shouldn't have happened?

That was the craziest thing I ever seen in football! When they called the penalty I kept thinking how much of idiots Oklahoma State was, but I didn't think for one sec Central Michigan could score. As the WR caught the ball and was being tackled I was still thinking it was game time and a W for Oklahoma State.... I was not expecting the WR to toss it to his teammate as he was going down. Holy sht!! I still can't believe they scored and won the game.

I can definitely see that happening. Even worse what if they keep the money on Central Michigan ML and even try to get away with keeping the money on Oklahoma State ML.

Pretty sure that's not legal. At least, any reputable book will payout based on the final game result. IF books start paying out or not paying out based on bad penalty calls, then you'd have screwed up finishes every week.

the offense struggling to score on a Mac defense. Is what I would be concerned about cmu offense is pretty good.

Dude. Wow. That wideout is a fuckin g. He put that lateral pass on the money. For him to be able to not go down, catch a 50 yard pass, and just get that done is unreal. And then the guy who finished the play. That's as fired up as I can remember seeing a football player. He was getting to that tub regardless.

4 seconds left, ok state ball, 4th down. Instead of punting or just running around the Ok St QB throws the ball far downfield out of bounds. Refs decide it was grounding and since it was 4th down they give central Michigan one untimed down. Which it turns out is not in the rules. The game can't end on a defensive penalty but can end on an offensive.

Central Michigan gets it around the 50. The QB throws it about 40 yards to a receiver who catches it and while going down laterals it perfectly to another player who get in a foot race with a defensive player to the end zone.

Wow, OSU can't execute a punt there? They must have been thinking back to the Michigan game last season. Still, you can't play scared like that. You could snap to the punter and have him run back a few yards, but you risk a slip and a tying FG.

OSU should have had the QB pooch punt it. There's a million ways to drain 4 seconds of the clock than risk an intentional grounding penalty.

INTENTIONAL GROUNDING ENDING GAME - Rule 10-2-5-a

The period is not extended if the foul is by the team in possession and the statement of the penalty includes loss of down (A.R. 3-2-3-VIII)

This sounds like a stupid penalty to me. The game is supposed to not end on a penalty by the opposing team. Even if they are on offense. They need to change that shit.
