My real question is could CM Punk be faking?
Consider, you get approval as a big name to fight in the UFC, but technically have no MMA/Fighting experience whatsoever.
Expectedly, everyone will predict and for the most part are predicting a ass-kicking of epic proportion against you.
Now you have a year to train, but why would you ever present a video of yourself sparring, practicing BJJ/wrestling at max potential?
You have the ability to pump up your fight via your WWE status, made a more marketable impression at weigh-ins for the hype, is it possible he is presenting the image of an octagon noob? I mean if your fighter was as bad as this guy looks in his latest videos, why would you want your label on him?
I'm just saying it may be acting as a weakling, but holding back to give a big surprise...or a drunken conspiracy theory from my pre-fight preparations...(vodka)
I do think he gets starched in all likelihood, but I can't shake this theory...why not play dead weight?Comment -
