Scott Ferrall believes that’s a distinct possibility. He thinks Miller, 29, was either high on drugs or has CTE.
“I think it’s got to be one or the other,” Lynch said. “I don’t see him as a drug guy at all. I think it could be CTE. I really do. I think that a lot of these guys, particularly if you look at their backgrounds and you look at what they did in college – Aldon had his things in college. Ray McDonald, no. Bruce Miller, no. This is classic CTE. You get into this episode where you’re really violent and you don’t know what you’re doing and you can’t get out of it. So I don’t know. I got to think it’s that. Of course, nobody really knows anyone, right? Everybody has demons and some people are really good at hiding them and maybe that’s the case with Bruce, but man, it was shocking.”
Miller has 76 catches for 734 yards and three touchdowns in his career. He’s also rushed 28 times for 62 yards and a score.
