Broncos handled Panthers in Super Bowl. Game at home. Peyton was not a factor AT ALL in the Super Bowl. Don't see Broncos losing this one. Same game plan as Super Bowl.

kubiak's belief is that the QB position in denver is interchangeable cause of how good the defense is.. its a run first, hardknock defensive type of team. this defense won 70% of their games last season. could very well be the same this season lol

Correct. Defending Super Bowl champs are 10-2 straight up, but second loss was when Ravens were forced to play on the road in Denver.

My thoughts:

I've watched Siemian quite a bit and I think he throws a nice ball and uses his eyes to look off the safety often. Does not have a strong arm, but good enough to make most of the throws in this offense. Carolina defense must be pumped to start the season going after a inexperienced QB and there is a revenge factor for sure, even though Cam has denied this.

Denver's defense is very tough, but I think Carolina will find a way to pull away in the 2nd half. If Siemian gives up the ball in the 1st half and they fall behind, I think Denver will be in trouble. They aren't going to catch up by running the ball.

If it's a 4th quarter game, I feel more comfortable with Cam pulling out the win over Siemian at this point.
