TB @ ATL OVER 47.5
So far this is my favorite bet in Week 1. I recognize that 3 of the last 4 matchups between these teams went under this number, but I see this easily going over this weekend.
Matt Ryan (& Julio) have excelled vs the Bucs. Matty Ice has averaged 27/36 for 293 yards over the past 4 meetings with the Bucs. TB defense hasn't improved enough to change that.
On the other side, Jameis Winston only had 28 attempts in each of the matchups last year. I think he's grown & improved a lot, and has a better connection with Evans. He should get the green light to sling it more and score more against an ATL defense now starting 2 rookie linebackers and a rookie corner. It looks like Trufant will stay on the left side, giving Evans a favorable matchup vs a rookie cb or below avg Alford - and a nice 8" height advantage for Evans either way.
Dome conditions will allow for vertical passing and field goals to run the scores up.
